More than 170 programmes, including a variety of degree programmes as well as trades, vocational education, and qualifying studies, are available at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
These programmes were created with flexibility in mind. By combining certificate and diploma credentials with bachelor's degrees, students can build on applied and technical Programmes. Graduate and postgraduate degrees were recently added by the university. The maximum number of students in a class is 53. Numerous programmes offer opportunities for cooperation and global learning.
The institution also provides the zero textbook cost project, which allows students to select from close to 850 courses that don't call for the purchase of pricey textbooks in exchange for access to library resources and free educational resources. According to President Alan Davis, KPU's intensive learning environment blends theory with practice and is recognised for its extensive engagement with its communities. The university, he continues, serves one of the country's fastest-growing regions.
The institution has a strong local presence in the Lower Mainland and has strengthened it with a dual credit pathway programme that allows high school students from other school districts to enrol in some post-secondary courses. KPU offers five campuses, each with a distinctive atmosphere and culture. Featuring a student art gallery, the busiest campus, Surrey, is full with activity. A fitness centre, conference centre, and an assembly space for indigenous persons. The campuses in Richmond and Civic Plaza, both in Surrey, have an urban feel, but the campuses in Langley and KPU Tech, both in Cloverdale, are closer to more rural locations.
